Junior Geology & Gemology Discovery is a fun experience created for young explorers and their families, introducing how gemstones are formed, discovered, and studied.Through storytelling and interactive activities, children will learn how gemstones form and what makes them so special.
What to Expect:
• Learn how gemstones form through heat, pressure, and crystallisation
• Discover gemstones from Switzerland and the Alpine regionExplore and handle real gemstones and mineral specimens
• Take part in interactive discovery stations including: Geode cracking & Rock & gem art (Gemstone observation using loupes and microscopes)
